General Description

Purpose:

Implementation of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (the “Clery Act”)
Executive Order 1107

Definition:

This executive order provides direction on implementing Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Safety Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, commonly referred to as the Clery Act (20 U.S.C. § 1092(f)), and Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013, commonly known as VAWA, which among other things amended the Clery Act (34 C.F.R. Part 668).

Scope:

Policy applies to all faculty, staff, and students.
