Scope:

Academic Schools 
The Office of the Provost has traditionally covered some of the costs associated with disciplinary accreditation.  This policy clarifies which expenses are to be covered by the Office of the Provost and those that will be incurred by the Academic Schools.  

Office of the Provost covers:
•    Institutional software
•    Annual or semi-annual fees required to maintain accreditation
•    Memberships
•    Site visits 

Academic Schools/Departments cover: 
•    Travel
•    Personnel
•    Materials, supplies, postage
•    School-specific software
•    Assigned time

This policy does not apply to WSCUC expenses for the university.
